Gorgeous, clean place with incredibly welcoming and accommodating staff on shift. Efficient check-in, functional room with air-con, better Travel Lodge bedrooms, a sofa bed. Great and fab location next to pubs, amazing restaurants in the local area......

Got stylish and double superior room even with an extra electric heater. The breakfast at the place was hot for continental fare. The location was amazing, for example, an open - air museum was just...

Nice new modern room. The situation was great! As it was a little cold for our conditions, a small heater was put in our room.
The reception staff could be more friendly. Some don't even say hello when they come in. In our room, next to the window was the air conditioning of the restaurant. This was very loud until 12:00 at night. When asked, we were told that no one had ever complained about it.

The room was only average for the amount of money we paid for it. Parking was available round the corner from the hotel but again was very expensive. The shower/bath was very poor with only warm water. Thankfully breakfast was included as this was also overpriced for a very average meal.

The staff were the most pleasant and accommodating of any hotel I have ever visited. They did everything they could make it an enjoyable visit.

The location
The hotel was extremely over price for what it was. The sort of money I paid I would have expected a larger room that at least could have fitted a wardrobe in it if you were an over sized person you would not have fitted on the toilet and the hotel was far to hot.

The setting of hotel was ideal, right beside the main attractions. The breakfast was above average exactly as I hoped, with salty meats and also really good quality ingredients.

Location
Bath did not drain when taking a shower unless you physically lifted the plug from the plug hole, and even then very slowly. Room was very small for the price. Breakfast staff were rude and clumsy.
